Weatherbee School hosts numerous after school activities. Some clubs are sponsored by a school staff member; many are sponsored by a community volunteer. Please be advised that a staff member is not always present to supervise the students at these community sponsored events.
Weatherbee Singers (school sponsored)
Weatherbee Singers is a chorus club that introduces students to the art of singing as a group in multiple voice parts. Being a part of the Weatherbee Singers is a great way to prepare students to be a part of chorus and show choir when they are in Junior High and High School. All students in grades 3, 4 and 5 are welcome to join. Please contact Mr. Madore with questions.
Chess Club (school sponsored)
Weatherbee Chess Club is open to all students grades 3-5. No experience necessary. We meet Tuesday mornings at 7:45am for friendly games and lessons where we build our analytical skills, strategies, and sportsmanship. Additional opportunities are available to students who wish to attend chess tournaments throughout the year. Contact the office for more information.
Weatherbee Coder's Club (school sponsored)
Weatherbee Coder's club is open to all students grades 3-5. No experience necessary. Students will learn the basics of coding through fun games and activities. Three separate sessions will take place throughout the school year. Please contact Ms. Carchedi at [email protected] with any questions.
